Winter in Hay River

Winters in Hay Rivers offer skiing, ice fishing, hockey, dog sledding, skating, icy waterfalls, and spectacular evening views of northern lights.  

Aurora Season – August to April

Hay River Heritage Centre & Museum

Opens for the summer in June with ice cream & every Thursday evening has a live music jam session

Fisherman’s Wharf Pavilion

Open on Saturdays June to September, the Hay River Fisherman’s Pavilion is a must!

The Territorial parks are open from April to September
